It has been suggested that at least one in every three women around the world has experienced sexual violence at some time.  Cloaked in this statistic is a culture of silence that seems to thrive.  Women who are victims of sexual abuse must not be afraid to speak out, and we need to make sure the services and support systems they need are in place to help them.
